Thank you for considering Cake Creations in your search to find the perfect baker to fulfill your wedding cake dreams. Every bride and groom have their own ideas of what their picture perfect wedding cake will be, and our goal is to create just what you’ve imagined. Please use the information on this page to aid you in the process of selecting the right baker to fit your needs. We encourage you to call and setup an appointment to discuss your custom confection. All of our wedding cakes are booked through appointments only. Wedding consultations are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for completing and delivering other brides wedding cakes.

This meeting allows the bride and groom to personally meet their cake decorator and discuss any and all questions they may have regarding their cake. Most consultations last between 45 minutes to an hour and include a cake tasting. During a cake tasting we offer our white satin and chocolate silk cakes with a variety of fillings. Special requests for flavors need to be made in advance. Your first consultation is free additional consultations are $30.00 per visit. We have several albums containing samples of our work that may serve as the basis for your cake design. Yet, couples are always welcome to bring in pictures that interest them, as we are always looking for new and exciting designs.

Our wedding cakes are priced by the serving and start at $3.50. This price includes any of our delectable cake flavors and any basic design of your choosing. We also offer an array of fruit and crème filled cakes that begin at $4.00 per serving. This price too includes any cake flavor and filling combination of your choice as well as any basic design. With each of these per serving costs you may mix and match as many flavors and fillings as you desire.

Each wedding cake we do is customized to fit your specifications, as such per serving prices are merely an estimate on which to base your budget. We have what we consider three tiers of design by which each of our cakes can be categorized. These tiers are characterized by the degree of difficulty involved in each design. The first tier are our Basic designs and are included in the per serving prices listed above. The second tier are our Intermediate designs and involve and additional cost of $50.00. The third and final tier are our elite custom designs and begin with an additional $75.00 charge.

Sheet cakes are available to complete serving needs for any orders over $100.00. This option is available to help our customers reduce their overall cost. However, we do not allow sheet cakes created by another bakery to be served in conjunction with our wedding cakes. This is due to the fact that we have worked long and hard to create a name and a reputation for our bakery and we cannot allow another bakeries product to reflect on our establishment.

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to save your date with us and we recommend booking early for the popular months June-October. We will not make additional taste testing items or sample cakes unless you have booked with us and paid your deposit. All items involved in the construction aspect of your cake (i.e. pillars, plates, bridges, fountains, cake stands) require a refundable $50.00 deposit. As long as these items are returned to us, in good condition, by the Wednesday following your wedding we will return your $50.00. Any items not returned or returned damaged will be subtracted from your deposit. A penalty of $5.00 will be subtracted for every day beyond Wednesday that the items remain unreturned.

We have a $50.00 delivery and setup fee in the greater Columbus and surrounding areas.

We are more than willing to place live flowers on your cake as long as they are present at the time of delivery. If flowers are going to be involved in your cake they need to be prearranged by your florist or yourself. It is your florists’ responsibility to ensure that the flowers are safe to be placed on food items. If you are interested in gum paste or sugar flower arrangements on your cake we are happy to help you select the appropriate pieces. We are more than willing to order the flowers of your choosing, however, you are responsible for the cost of these items.

All details involving size, shape, and design of the cake must be set 3 weeks prior to the wedding. All outstanding balances must be paid in full 3 weeks prior to the wedding. Delivery times and schedules should be finalized at least two weeks prior to the wedding. However, I will contact you the week of to make sure everything is set.

Less than 3 weeks prior to your wedding all money less a 10% cancellation fee will be returned to you in the form of a check. Any cancellations made the week of the wedding will be considered on a case by case basis with the customer receiving no less than 50% of their total.
